As part of Women’s Week Celebrations the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) on 6th March, 2018 during the Meet-Up staff were engaged in a Dialogue titled: “The Status of Women in Relevant Sectors.”

Staff at the Commission attended a presentation by Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Cancer Diseases Hospital Dr. George Nkonde Pupwe on 15th March, 2018 at Commission Headquarters.

Electoral Commission of Zambia emerged winners of the Best Interpretation of the theme at the Youth Forum and Young Entrepreneurs and Innovation Exhibition in the corporate category at the Government Complex in Lusaka, Zambia. The theme of the Youth Conference was “Leveraging Opportunities for Youth through Information Communication Technologies (ICTs).”

The Commission recently joined various institutions and organisations in commemorating this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD whose theme was “Time is Now! Rural and Urban Activists Transforming Women’s lives.”

Chana Kaunda Zambezi has been appointed as the new Electoral Commission of Zambia Director Electoral Operations.

Zambia Public Relations Association recently held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference in Livingstone which focused on how to integrate Communication in the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
