The Commission undertakes publicity to sensitize the public on the electoral process. Some of the stages of the electoral process covered are:

- Candidate nomination
- Poll day activities
- Announcement and Declaration of results
- Post-Election activities
The Commission also collaborates with external and internal stakeholders through various forums.
Publicity activities take the following forms:
- Electronic media which includes national, commercial and community radio and television stations;
- Print Media;
- Website and Social media;
- Outdoor media;
- Mobile publicity;
- Exhibitions;
- Information and Communication materials in English and local languages; and
- Roadshows
