Publicity

The Commission undertakes publicity to sensitize the public on the electoral process. Some of the stages of the electoral process covered are:

  • Delimitation
  • Voter registration
  • Candidate nomination
  • Poll day activities
  • Announcement and Declaration of results
  • Post-Election activities

The Commission also collaborates with external and internal stakeholders through various forums.

Publicity activities take the following forms:

  • Electronic media which includes national, commercial and community radio and television stations;
  • Print Media;
  • Website and Social media;
  • Outdoor media;
  • Mobile publicity;
  • Exhibitions;
  • Information and Communication materials in English and local languages; and
  • Roadshows
