The Electoral Commission of Zambiahas made budgetary allocation towards the cost of Expansion of the Warehouse, Offices and Conference rooms at its Silverest Warehouse, in Chongwe area.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to tender for Expansion of the Warehouse, Offices and Conference rooms at its Silverest Warehouse, in Chongwe area.

A bidding document may be obtained from Procurement Department, Electoral Commission of Zambia Head office, upon payment of a non- refundable fee of K1, 000.00 through   the following account:

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Electoral Commission of Zambia, Procurement Department, Elections House, Haile Selassie Avenue, P.O. Box 50274, LUSAKA, ZAMBIA.  The telephone number is 260-1-253157/250081 and the Telefax number is 260-1-253157/257274.  HOWEVER TELEGRAPHIC AND/OR ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Bids shall be valid for a minimum period of 120 days from the Bid closing date and must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the bid sum in the form of Bank Guarantee/Bid Bond from a reputable bank or financial institution, issued and duly signed by the Guarantor (s), or the bid securing declaration form.

The sealed bids must be clearly marked: “Tender for the Expansion of the Warehouse, Offices and Conference Rooms” and addressed to The Chief Electoral Officer, sent not later than 10.00 hours local time on Friday 25^th February, 2022.

The sealed bids must be deposited in the Tender Box located on the Ground Floor, Reception Area, Electoral Commission of Zambia Offices, Lusaka, at or before 10.00 hours local time on Friday 25^th February, 2022.

Site visit will be conducted on Friday, 11^th February, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time at the Silverest Warehouse located along 3^rd Street, Silverest Area, just before Silverest Primary School. Bidders must find their way to the site.

The closing date for the receipt of the bids is 10.00 hours local time on Friday 25^th February, 2022.  The bids will be opened in the Conference Room on the Ground Floor on the same date soon after closing in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
