The Electoral Commission of Zambia on 27th July 2021 issued a notice to the general public detailing the schedule of the dispatch of ballot papers for the 2021 General Election. The dispatch commenced on Wednesday 28th July 2021 and ended on 30th July 2021.

It was however noted that on the last dispatched consignment, in addition to the ballots, the charted plane by the Printer also contained consignments other than the ballots.

This raised concerns from some stakeholders and the Commission indicated that it would engage the Airline through the Printer for clarification.
