The contents of the amended bill of rights were ok but the time to hold the referendum was not good. Nevertheless it has gone ahead. Why have i brought this up? The information you have just posted is so important but the timing leaves much to be desired. When it comes to law am always puzzled how lawyers work. The publication “understanding the 2016 referendum comic book” states that referendum threshold 50% of eligible voters voting yes. Like lawyers say it has some grey areas. Please keep it up with improvements.
Thank you
What if 3,750,000 turn up but 100 of these are spoiled ballots. And then 50% of the remaining 3,749,090 vote Yes, can the Yes vote win?
