Voter Education Centre Hosts Future Light Academy

The Commission hosted Future Light Academy at the Voter Education Centre (VEC) in the Lusaka Show Grounds on 3rd March 2017.

Future Light Academy is a Private School located in Chawama, Lusaka. The 60 person Future Light Academy delegation included 2 teachers and 58 pupils. The visitors were taken through various presentations on the electoral process including Voting Day, Declaration of Results and new and old election materials. The visitors were also taken through a mock voting exercise.

The school through their representative thanked the Commission for the knowledge they had gained from the visit and for the opportunity given to them to attend education sessions at the VEC.

The Voter Education Centre in the Show Grounds provides continuous voter education through the provision of electoral information throughout the year.
