Youths Say No to Violence…Turn Up to Vote

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has appealed to Youths in Mangango Constituency in Kaoma district to exercise maximum restraint to acts of violence and behaviours which are likely to lead to anarchy in the Country.

This was said by Commissioner Honourable Mr Justice Christopher Mushabati in a speech read on his behalf by Returning Officer for Mangango Parliamentary Constituecy by-election Mr Chipango Musangu. He was speaking during a Youth Conference held by the ECZ at Mangango Parish Hall in Kaoma district.

He urged the youths registered as voters in the constituency to ensure that they turn up to vote in the forthcoming Mangango parliamentary Constituency by election.

Justice Mushabati said that the Commission will be conducting the Mangango Parliamentary by election on 20th November 2018 and the Lupososhi district Council Chairperson election and five (5) local government by elections at ward level in Chisanga Ward of Ngabwe district, Lusinde Ward of Petauke district, Nkhanka Ward in Chama district, Tumvmwanganai Ward in Solwezi district and Sipuma Ward of Shang’ombo district.
