Commission Announces Nomination Centres

COMMISSION ANNOUNCES NOMINATION CENTRES
Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Electoral Commission of Zambia prescribed Thursday 26th July, 2018 as the
date on which to hold the Mayoral, District Council Chairperson’s elections in Lusaka, Chilanga, Chasefu, Chipangali, Kasenengwa,
Lumezi, Lusangazi and Chifunabuli districts and By-Elections in six (6) Wards. Further the general public is being informed that the
polls will take place from 06:00 hours to 18:00 hours.

Aspiring candidates in the said by-elections are advised to lodge completed and attested statutory declaration and nomination
papers subscribed before a Magistrate, Local Court Magistrate, Head of a Government Primary or Secondary School, Principal of a
College, Commissioner of Oaths, Election Officer or Returning Officer on Tuesday 26th June, 2018 between 09:00 hours and
15:00 hours to the Returning Officers in the nomination centres under listed in the document linked:
