The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has determined the dates for nominations and polls for the Kasenengwa Parliamentary and Five (5) Councillor By-elections as 9th August and 6th September, 2018 respectively.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that the following candidates were validly nominated following the lodging in of nominations for the by elections in KASENENGWA Parliamentary Constituency and Five (5) Local Government Wards in Five (5) districts, on Thursday, 9th August, 2018. The polls shall take place on Thursday, 6th September 2018 between 06:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed Thursday, 6th September, 2018 as the date on which to hold the Parliamentary By-election in Kasenengwa Constituency of Kasenengwa District. On the same date, the Commission will also conduct five (5) Local Government by-elections in Kamalamba, Liyovu, Mabili, Nkenyauna and Shikombwe wards.

Herewith the Official Results of the 26th July, 2018 Elections which were held in Lusaka (for Office of Mayor) and Council Chairpersons’ elections in Chilanga, Chasefu, Chipangali, Kasenengwa, Lumezi, Lusangazi and Chifunabuli districts.

The (By)-Elections in Lusaka, Chilanga, 6 newly created districts and five ward by-elections have been conducted today as planned with a low number of voters turning up.
