Major General Vincent Mukanda (RTD) is an accomplished millitary officer with over 35 years of dedicated service to the Republic of Zambia having joined the Zambia Army in 1975 and retiring as Deputy Army Commander and Chief of Staff.
General Mukanda has also served as a Research Fellow on the graduate programme in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Dag Hammarskjold Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, Copperbelt University. He also served as Manager Copperbelt University, Lusaka office.
He was the president of the Zambian Chapter of the internationally renowned Washington based Think Tank Africa Centre for Strategic Studies (ACSS)
