Mr. Andrew Minja joined the Commission as Director Internal Audit on 1st December 2021.

Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Minja worked at MTN Zambia  as Head of Internal Audit and Forensic Services from March 2017 to 30th November 2021. He embarked on his career with Grant Thornton a firm of chartered Accountants, he has  also served as Head of Internal Audit for Stanbic Bank, Head of Internal Audit for the Energy Regulation Board and Chief Internal Auditor for the Zambia Wildlife Authority.

He is a seasoned assurance practitioner with experience establishing internal audit functions and   serving as an organisation’s  key governance, risk and compliance advisor. Mr. Minja has extensive experience  working with senior management teams assessing and improving  Internal Control  Environments.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA UK),  a fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (FZICA) and Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Andrew Minja is an Assurance Professional. He currently serves as Director Internal Audit at the Electoral Commission of Zambia. Prior to joining the Commission he held various roles as Chief Audit Executive. Prior to taking up the appointment he has served as Head of Internal Audit and Forensic services at MTN Zambia. He is a Fellow of the ACCA and ZICA.
