TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF VARIOUS ELECTION MATERIALS FOR THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF ZAMBIA ON A TWO YEAR RUNNING CONTRACT

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has made budgetary planning provisions towards the cost of procurement for the election materials under the contracts for the supply and delivery of various election materials for a period of two years.

 

The Electoral Commission of Zambia invites sealed bids for the supply and delivery of various election materials from experienced and reputable suppliers as follows:

A bidding document may be obtained from the Procurement Department, Electoral Commission of Zambia Head office, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00.

 

Further information may be obtained from the Head of Procurement, Electoral Commission of Zambia, Elections House, Haile Selassie Avenue, P.O Box 50274, LUSAKA. The telephone number is 260-1-253157/250081 and the Telefax number is 260-1-257274. HOWEVER TELEGRAPHIC AND/OR ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

 

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid closing and must be accompanied by a duly authorized Bid Securing Declaration form duly signed by the Guarantor(s), and delivered together with the bidding documents.

 

Margins of preference during financial evaluation for each of the lots shall be applied as follows:

 

  1. for a Citizen- influenced Company, by 4%
  2. for a Citizen- empowered Company, by 8%,
  3. for a Citizen- owned Company, by 12%

 

Eligible bidders must provide details of the manufacturers and the dealership authorization for the particular item of interest among the lots above.

 

Sealed offers must be marked, ‘Tender for the supply and delivery of various Election Materials for the Electoral Commission of Zambia on a two year running contract’ and addressed to the Chief Electoral Officer, sent not later than 10:00 hours on Friday, 25th October, 2019.

The bids must be deposited in the tender box on the Ground Floor, Reception, Electoral Commission of Zambia offices, Lusaka, at or before 10:00 hours local time on Friday, 25th October, 2019.

The closing date for the receipt of bids is 10:00 hours local time on Friday, 25th October, 2019, and any bids received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted.
