The Electoral Commission of Zambia has made budgetary provisions towards the cost of security services and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for provision of security services at the Electoral Commission of Zambia.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia invites sealed bids from experienced and reputable service providers to provide 24 – hour security services at its premises as per schedule of requirements below.

A bidding document may be obtained from the Procurement Department, Electoral Commission of Zambia Head office, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1000.00 through the following:

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid closing and must be accompanied by a duly authorised bid securing declaration form duly signed by the Guarantor (s), and delivered together with the bidding documents.

Margins of preference shall be applied during financial evaluation as follows:

    1. for a Citizen- influenced Company, by 4%
    2. for a Citizen- empowered Company, by 8%,
    3. for a Citizen- owned Company, by 12%

The bids must be deposited in the tender box on the Ground Floor, Reception, Electoral Commission of Zambia Offices, Lusaka, at or before 10.00 hours local time on Friday, 3rd February, 2023.

The Site visit will be held on Friday, 27th January, 2023 at 10: 00 hour local time and will be at bidder’s own cost.

The closing date for the receipt of bids is 10.00 hours local time on Friday, 3rd February, 2023 and any bids received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted.
