FOR THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION OF ZAMBIA ON A TWO YEAR RUNNING CONTRACT

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has made budgetary provisions towards the cost of procurement for the printing of Ballot papers, ballot paper posters, Blind Voter templates and Announcement forms for a period of two years.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia invites sealed bids for the printing and delivery of Ballot papers, ballot paper posters, Blind Voter templates and Announcement forms for a period of two years from experienced and reputable security printing firms as follows:

This tender is open to all eligible bidders, both local and international, and will be administered following the rules under international competitive bidding procedures as provided for in the Zambia Public Procurement Regulations, 2011.

A bidding document may be obtained from the Procurement Department, Electoral Commission of Zambia Head office, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00 or (USD100 or its equivalent).

Further information may be obtained from the Head of Procurement, Electoral Commission of Zambia, Elections House, Haile Selassie Avenue, P.O Box 50274, LUSAKA.  The telephone number is 260-1-253157/250081 and the Telefax number is 260-1-257274.  HOWEVER TELEGRAPHIC AND/OR ELECTRONIC OFFERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid closing and must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than 2% of the Bid sum duly signed by the Guarantor(s), and delivered together with the bidding documents.

Sealed offers must be marked, ‘Tender for the printing and delivery of Ballot papers, Ballot paper posters, Blind Voter templates and Announcement forms for a period of two years’ and addressed to the Chief Electoral Officer, sent not later than 10:00 hours on Friday, 15^th November, 2019.

The bids must be deposited in the tender box on the Ground Floor, Reception, Electorion of Zambia offices, Lusaka, at or before 10:00 hours local time on Friday, 15^th November, 2019.

The closing date for the receipt of bids is 10:00 hours local time on Friday, 15^th November, 2019, and any bids received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted.
