Dylan Bwalya Kasonde is an ICT Governance and Information Security expert. He is currently Director – ICT at the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
He was previously in charge of the ICT operations section of the Commission. Prior to joining the Commission, he was in charge of ICT Operations Section at the National Assembly of Zambia (Zambian Parliament).
He holds a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Zambia, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science (MSc) in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School in Scotland.
He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Management of Democratic Elections from University of South Africa (UNISA) and Certification in Strategic Frameworks for Non-governmental Organizations (SFNO) from Kennedy School of Governance at Harvard University, USA. He is certified in CGEIT, CISM, CRISC, CISA and GIAC.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed Thursday 30th June, 2022 as the date on which to hold Ward by-elections in Lumbo Ward of Mongu Municipal Council in Western Province and Nshinso Ward of Mkushi Town Council in Central Province.
