\nLIFTING OF CAMPAIGN SUSPENSION \u2013 SIOMA, IKELENGE AND LUSAKA (KANYAMA\nCONSTITUENCY)
\n
\nThe Electoral Commission of Zambia on 28th July 2021 and 2nd August 2021\nannounced the indefinite suspension, subject to review, of campaign activities\nin Sioma, Ikelenge and Lusaka (Kanyama Constituency) respectively. The\nsuspension was due to electoral violence despite the guidance provided by the\nCommission.
\n
\nFollowing review, the Commission would like to inform the media and members of\nthe public that it has lifted the suspension of campaign rallies in Sioma,\nIkelenge and Lusaka (Kanyama Constituency) effective midnight today.
\n
\nThe affected political parties\/candidates are further advised to adhere to\nElectoral Code of Conduct when conducting any campaigns.
\nFurther, all political parties are guided to abide by the Electoral Code of\nConduct and COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
