Electoral Commission of Zambia Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Kryticous Nshindano at a Press Briefing at Elections House in Lusaka on 2nd April, 2021 said that the Commission had revised the dates for payment of Nomination fees for Presidential Candidates and candidates vying for National Assembly and Council seats.

Inspection of the Provisional Register of Voters Extended to End on 7th April, 2021

The period for the Inspection of the Provisional Register of Voters will end on 7th April, 2021. This follows an extension of the period for conduct of the exercise which was initially meant to run from 29th March, 2021 to 2nd April, 2021.

This follows the 22nd February 2021 consultative meeting between the Ministry of Health and Electoral Commission of Zambia whose resolution was to form a technical committee to work on mainstreaming COVID-19 prevention mechanisms into the 2021 General Election Calendar
