Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed Thursday 7th April, 2022 as the date on which to hold theMongu District Mayoral by-election in Western Province. On the same date, the Commission will also conduct two (2) Local Government Ward by-elections in Lukutu Ward of Luwingu Town Council in Northern Province and Katimba Ward of Monze Town Council in Southern Province. Nominations for the said by-elections will conducted on Tuesday, 15th March, 2022

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has received numerous queries concerning a statement by Mr Fred Mubanga, Democratic Party candidate in the just ended Kabwata Parliamentary by-election. Mr Mubanga alleged that he did not get any vote at the polling station where he and his family members voted from.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed 20th January, 2022 as the date on which to hold the Kabwata Constituency Parliamentary by-election in Lusaka District of Lusaka Province. On the same date, the Commission will also conduct two (2) Local Government Ward by-elections in Liangati Ward of Senanga Town Council in Western Province and Sokontwe Ward of Milenge District of Luapula Province. Nominations for the said by-elections will be on Tuesday, 28th December 2021.
