END OF CAMPAIGN PERIOD FOR KABWATA CONSTITUENCY BY-ELECTION

Notice is hereby given to all participating political parties and candidates in the Kabwata Parliamentary by-election that the campaign period, which commenced on Wednesday 19th January 2022 has come to an end today Wednesday, 2nd February, 2022 at 18:00 hours. 

The Commission therefore notifies all political parties/candidates to cease all campaign activities including media adverts sponsored by respective political parties and candidates.

The Commission further wishes to remind all political party supporters, candidates and registered voters in Kabwata Constituency to avoid putting on any party regalia on poll day tomorrow 3rd February, 2022 as they go to vote.  

The Commission is hopeful that stakeholders will conduct themselves in a peaceful manner in tomorrow’s by-election.
