The Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed Thursday, 28th February, 2013 as the date on which to hold the Parliamentary By-Election for Mpongwe and Livingstone Constituencies and Local Government By-Elections in thirty four (34) wards.

14/01/12 Public Notice - “Reflection of the 2011 Tripartite Elections –Zambia”

Mr. Michael Chilufya Sata of the Patriotic Front was declared the winner of the 2011 presidential elections with 43% of the total votes cast. A total of ten candidates contested for the presidential elections and more than 50 percent of the 5 million registered voters turned out to cast their votes across the country to choose local, parliamentary and presidential candidates of their choice.
